It's been a long time since I last updated my DA account. Although I'm in art classes at college, none of it is the art I like to make. Thus I have no new art to upload. I might upload a picture of a tower I built, and maybe some pictures of a lamp I made.

School is going ok, although I had to drop one of my art classes. I also changed my major to math and science. Although I feel that I'm a competent artist, I don't think it's the career for me.

My math tutoring job goes well, I feel like I'm making a real difference. I'm getting compliments left and right. If it goes any better I might even consider tutoring as a career.

Clubs I'm in,

College finals are next week, but I'm ready for them. I did well enough in my math class that they aren't even going give me a final. I only have 3 art class finals and an English essay exam.

I'm also doing well enough in math that they recommended a tutoring position on campus to me. I passed the interview and placement test, so I will get a schedule next week. If all goes well, I should have a job on campus next semester.

As art goes, I don't have any good ideas. I've been working on my drawing from life. Doing poses with characters is still hard for me. But my brain's cooking with anticipation, expect some new stuff soon.


Clubs I'm in,

Well I'm in college people. I actually started Sep 2, but I haven't updated my journal in a while. Classes are good, but Art is gay. I know we have to learn the basics, but why are the basics so monotonous and lifeless. This is probably the 6th or 7th art class I've taken, and they all start boring as hell. And they don't get better.

As a project art-wise, I'm carving a wooden N64 controller. It will have all the original innards and will actually function, it's just going to be wood. I want to make some retro controllers for my old consoles. I'm thinking about carving some wood Xbox360 controllers too. I'll see how it goes. When they're done I'll post pictures.

I was writing on rice. I have stopped rice writing for a while, because I can't find a writing instrument tiny enough to keep up with my hands/eyes. Until then, I am finding and uploading old art.

My camera (canon Power Shot A70) just broke. Apparently canon sold quite a few "time-bomb" cameras, which after an unspecified time, stop taking pictures. It is such a large problem, that they give you a free warranty if they find your camera's problem is related to the bad batch. You can send in your camera for free, and they will send it back repaired for free. I just need to fill out some paperwork

Well people, I'm writing on rice now. A friend told me as a joke that I should write names on rice. So I did.

I went home and got some rice. I wrote "DOUGLAS" on a grain of rice with no effort at all. Then my pen exploded, and I started using an acrylic brush. The brush writes even smaller, it's just harder to use.

I looked up rice writing on google, and see that rice writing has been mastered beyond what I could do. I saw many things drawn on rice.

I figured I would need something different, so I am going to be the first person to draw hentai on rice. Me and my rice bitches will stun the world, and they shall call me the Rice Pimp.
